AWS Auto-discovery

AWS resource inventory and Application discovery are two of the core capabilities of the Rapticore Platform. Both of these functionalities leverage IAM Roles with managed and custom IAM read-only policies to enumerate and extract out configuration details and metadata from AWS services to create asset inventory and discover Cloud-Native Applications.

Rapticore's discovery core logic is modular runs on a schedule. Depending on the number of AWS accounts and resources in each AWS account, the customer should see initial data within 20 minutes of the initial discovery run - the full discovery run might take up to 4 hours. However, data from each discovery run will show up in the Rapticore platform as soon as it is extracted and processed.
